Abstract:   (527 Views)
In classical data envelopment analysis (DEA) models, the best performers have full-efficient status and it is denoted by one, and from experience, we know that more than one unit have this efficient status. One of the most frequently studied and interesting research subjects is to discriminate between the performances of full-efficient decision-making units (DMUs). Different authors have studied the problem of finding the best-efficient DMU from different viewpoints. However, as far as we are aware, there is no explicit or implicit definition on the best efficient DMU. So, different approaches have introduced different units as the best efficient unit. In this paper, we have used a common set of weights to propose a DEA-based model to determine the best efficient DMU. Then, a comparative measure to each DMU is defined, and using this measure, a prioritization method for frontier DMUs is given. Numerical examples show the applicability of the proposed approach.
