Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is a powerful mathematical method for evaluating the relative efficiency of decision-making units and can be applied to assess game-based educational methods. This study utilizes an input-free DEA model to evaluate the efficiency of ten educational math games, with an emphasis on their impact on emotional creativity indicators. The research involved 150 seventh-grade students in Qom, divided into ten groups, each playing a different game. By applying the input-free DEA model and coding it in GAMS software, the efficiency of each group was analyzed before and after the intervention. The results showed that five games had a significant positive impact on students’ performance, while one game had no noticeable effect, and four games had a negative impact. These findings indicate that the appropriate selection and design of educational games are critical for improving student performance and suggest that a detailed analysis of underperforming games is necessary for future improvements.
