The Islamic parliament is one of the main pillars of legislation, which has the main duties of legislation and supervision. Due to the parliament's crucial role in society, examining the performance of different periods and identifying their strengths and weaknesses can serve as the basis for improving and growing the performance of future periods. Therefore, the main goal of the research is to evaluate the performance of different periods of the parliament from two legislative and regulatory perspectives based on the Data Envelopment Analysis Approach (DEA). The parliament's duties and powers place a greater emphasis on producing outputs, leading to analysis and evaluation based on input-less models. The goal of these models is to increase desirable outputs and decrease undesirable ones. In addition to examining the performance of different periods of the parliament from the perspective of legislation and supervision, the research also examines the influence of factors that indirectly impact the parliament's performance.
