This research in terms of purpose is an applied study and in terms of method is a descriptive-analytical study. At first, by reviewing domestic and foreign literature, 84criteria were identified for assessing  the performance of managers. After obtaining experts opinion (in company studied), 27 sub-criteria in 5 main groups or criteria were selected to assess the performance of managers (director personality traits, communication skills, decision making skills, management skills and professional capabilities and skills). then, using the fuzzy TOPSIS technique and obtaining 11 experts opinion, main criteria and sub-criteria were prioritized, and the weight of each criteria was calculate, the main criteria "decision making skill of managers" , and sub-criteria "consultation and participation of employees in decision making" gained the highest rating among the identified criteria.
