The decision support system is a system that helps with decision makers at different levels of management and for different cases of decision making (structured to non-structured) using various methods and having sufficient hardware and software. Today, by simulating the human decision-making process and applying modern technologies, these systems have been able to address many of the shortcomings, including the lack of adequate, timely and needed information, lack of expertise in decision making, the lack of expert and experienced people, as well as the memory and processing limitations of the human mind. In this paper, a DSS is designed to evaluate and select projects for the creation of research centers, and a ranking will be presented among the research centers based on the data envelopment analysis method.
